"An all-around solid and well-cared-for car – full of charm and character."

Description

This car originally comes from Norway, where it was reportedly used by a priest to transport Bibles. It was first registered in Sweden in 2005 and then took on a new role, transporting vintage items—mainly within the niche collector’s field of older plumbing fixtures. After that, it served as an editorial car for the magazine Klassiker.

Eventually, it ended up with Verktygsboden, where it has been extensively used and showcased at fairs, markets, and events, primarily loaded with polishing products and car accessories. During the winter, it became a well-known sight at the shop in Borås.

The odometer currently reads 74,260 km but resets at 100,000 km. It’s unclear whether it has turned over once or several times.

Condition

  • Mechanical condition:

Upgraded with a 1100 engine, a cylinder head converted for unleaded petrol, and front disc brakes. Mechanically, everything feels in good order. It starts easily, shifts smoothly, and the brakes work well and evenly. Gauges and lights are functional. However, the tip of the turn signal lever is damaged.

  • Interior condition:

Some new features and a few deviations from the original, such as door handles, a newer stereo mounted under the dashboard, and a few additional gauges. The carpets are in good condition. The driver’s seat has a tear, but otherwise, the vinyl is fairly well-preserved. Painted sections show consistent good finish with minor wear. Overall, the car is in a cozy, well-maintained, and usable condition.

  • Exterior condition:

This car has been used as a demonstration vehicle for polishing products, making it likely Sweden’s most polished Morris. The paint has an exceptionally deep and fine gloss, and it’s evident that the paintwork was professionally done from the start. Over the years, minor blemishes such as stone chips and scratches have appeared, as well as some older repairs underneath. Overall, the impression is very neat, with the body, wheels, chrome parts, and underside all in excellent condition.

  • General condition:

Neat, charming, and reliable. A car that truly turns heads.
