Description
It was delivered new to its first owner, a painter named Maria in Stockholm, in May 1961. She drove it for a long time, all the way until 1979. According to information from a previous owner, the large searchlight suggests that the car may have been a police vehicle—but in that case, the first owner, painter Maria, would have had to be some kind of undercover police officer using a civilian vehicle as a work tool. The lamp certainly leaves room for imagination. Perhaps it was retrofitted by a later owner. The odometer currently reads 44,306 km but rolls over at 100,000 km. The total mileage is unknown, but it is likely that the car has not covered more than just over 144,000 km. The most recent and final approved inspection was carried out on 2017-08-28, meaning the car was within a valid inspection period when the new regulations came into effect on 2018-04-20.

The engine has been completely rebuilt from the ground up, starts easily even in the cold with a perfectly normal, slightly tired 6-volt feel, and sounds healthy. One windshield wiper is missing; the owner has two new arms that are to be installed.

Interior condition
Patinated interior with clear signs of use, but no damage. If one dares and wishes, a gentle textile cleaning and a bit of rubbing on the vinyl would surely improve the condition, or at least make it a little cleaner. A small tear in the right front door panel by the grab handle; the same spot has been repaired on the left door.

Exterior condition
Repainted at some point, with a few touch-ups and blemishes, but the roof appears to be untouched original. Older BF Goodrich bias-ply tires on steel wheels with fine original hubcaps. The right rear reflector and the left headlamp insert are mounted slightly crooked—easy to fix.

Nicely patinated and user-friendly, in a condition that is both mechanically reliable and externally presentable.

- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
