Description
The car comes from the Sandahls collections, which Bilweb Auctions AB will sell under four different themes in early spring: first, some of the family's popular workhorses, mainly Mercedes, Volkswagen, and some others; then half a dozen exclusive Rolls-Royce and Jaguar cars; followed by a selection of early Ford cars and a Chevrolet from the early years of motoring. Finally, there will be nine different award-winning and representative full-size American cars from 1959, the year of the largest fins.
Sandahls is now one of Sweden's largest family-owned transport conglomerates. The company was founded in Värnamo in 1949. Previous generations have collected about 40 cars under various themes in their private museum for many years. Bilweb Auctions AB has now been entrusted with the honor of selling these in four rounds in February and March this year.

Mechanical condition
The car runs and drives, having received a recent startup service and a new battery, though it's only been driven 20 meters within the museum and hasn't been fully tested. The hydraulic suspension on the passenger side is stuck in the lifted position and hasn't returned to normal, there's a fuel leak, and the brakes require servicing. Last inspected in 2006, the car comes with attractive wheels and older but good tires. Service book included.

Interior condition
interior is appealing and well-maintained, though it requires a thorough cleaning after being on display in a museum for over 15 years. The leather seats are intact and show typical wear for their age, accompanied by good carpets, door cards, and headliner. The dashboard features elegant wooden trim without any cracks, well-functioning instrumentation, and an undamaged dashboard panel. Both electric windows and seats are operational. However, the radio is loose, though the digital displays are functional. The boot space is neat and features clean carpets.

Exterior condition
The car's bodywork is straight, undamaged, and free of visible rust, with a tidy underbody showing no damage. Its paintwork is clean, bright, and very presentable, displaying only minor scratches and paint chips. Equipped with attractive bumpers and chrome trims, it only requires a cleaning and slight polishing to look exceptionally nice..

General condition
This car is highly appealing and primarily requires service work, along with an assessment of the hydraulic suspension. With the expertise of someone knowledgeable about these cars, it should be easily prepared for road use again.

General information about the condition of the vehicles .
- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
