"En rubinröd Amazon beställdes av bilförsäljaren Birger Eriksson på Lennart Jöhncke bil AB i Linköping den 28 februari 1967 som ett demoexemplar. Där gick den cirka 500 mil fram till 1968 då Nils-Erik Johansson i Åtvidaberg köpte den, vårdade den pedantiskt och använde bilen väldigt sparsamt fram till sin bortgång 2014 med 12000 mil i bilen bakom sig. Sedan tog arvingarna tog över ägandet och för ett par år sedan en privat entusiast. Tack vare det sparsamma brukandet och den ständigt ömt vårdande handen för att bevara bilen på bästa sätt, speglar det sig idag i en Amazon i ett fullständigt unikt bevarat original skick, trots sina 13 600 mil på mätaren.Interiören är otroligt fint bevarad, där även den stoppade instrumentpanelen fortfarande är mjuk. Alla gummilister och gummidetaljer är original och i utmärkt skick, det vill jag påstå att det bevisar att bilen sällan tagits ut ur garaget i onödan i allt för påfrestande väder.
Bilens 2 original länsbokstavsskyltar finns kvar, varav en som till synes sitter återmonterad i fronten. Den nyare skylten från 1973 finns självklart kvar och är givetvis i utmärkt skick."

Mechanical condition
Ett nytt kvalitativt 2" avgassystem med det karaktäristiska ljudet monterades av ägaren före den nuvarande. Det gamla finns kvar om någon inte skulle uppskatta det sportiga och lite lågt visslande ljudet. I övrigt utstrålar bilen en nybilskänsla i körningen.

Interior condition
En mjuk stoppad överdel av instrumentpanelen talar för att bilen inte har varit onödigt stillastående ute i solen. Vidare finner man att skyddslacken är kvar på en del detaljer, till exempel dörrlåsen och ventilkåpan. Inredning och mattor håller samma höga klass, men de extra gummimattorna har på förarsidan ett tydligt slitage och hål efter gasfoten.

Exterior condition
Originallacken är djupt röd och utan skador. Klassiska tillbehör som 5,5”-fälgarna sitter monterade för att få det av många önskade och tidstypiska lite sportiga och tuffare utförandet. Originalfälgarna finns självklart kvar.

General condition
Här har vi en bil som lirar i en klass för sig själv och letar man efter en röd Amazon i så nära perfekt skick man kan komma utan att renovera, då är det här en möjlighet som svårligen kan återkomma i det snaraste.

- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
