Wray Brothers Ford in Van Nuys sold this car new in 1956 to John and Muriel Dow, who meticulously maintained it and had it serviced on a regular basis (much documentation is preserved). The car was only driven occasionally, but it was used to transport the son, who was an actor in the television series "Leave it to Beaver." The current owner looked for a nice original car for a long time before finding this one in 2004; it had only been driven 31066 miles at the time.
The car was in good shape, but sun-bleached, and it came with an original hardtop, and the largest engine, and an automatic transmission. It was brought home and given to a reputable paint company, which sandblasted the body and repainted it in the original color. A new convertible top was installed and the interior was reupholstered. It has now traveled 46558 miles and is only used occasionally. It's time for someone else to step in and take over this treasure.

Works perfectly, everything works apart from the clock and original radio, well serviced with a lot of documentation.

Very nice interior, that was re upholstered in 2005 in its original design.

Professional repainted 15 years ago in its original color, sandblasted bodywork before paint and never suffered rust repairs with fine in chrome work. The cabriolet roof was changed before it was imported to Sweden.

It’s an original car in top condition with original hardtop, with a very unusual Buckskin Tan color.

- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
