The car was imported in 2011 by Jaguar expert Joes Garage.
It has a fine service history from Germany and Joe Garage carried out service and inspection before selling it on to a man in Gothenburg. He owned it between 2011 and 2025 and drove it sparingly during summer and it was laid up during winter. The current owner purchased the car in 2025 and during winter 25-26 has carried out necessary upgrades and service.
He has among other things changed the oil in the engine, rear axle and in the hydraulic cylinders to the soft top. Furthermore the centre silencer has been replaced with one for better flow and a KN air filter has been fitted. As the car is somewhat lowered, he has purchased a set of new original springs, these are not fitted but are included with the car.

The car runs excellently and shifts smoothly. The current owner has serviced and gone through the car during the winter. The electric fan works flawlessly.

Jaguar XK8 was launched in 1996 as the successor to the XJS and quickly became one of Jaguar's most appreciated modern GT cars. The model combined classic Jaguar design with a powerful V8 and high comfort.
The 2003 XK8 belongs to the X100 generation and is one of the later versions. From 2003 onwards, the XK8 received the more modern 4.2-litre V8 engine, which replaced the earlier 4.0-litre engine. Power output was approximately 294 hp and the car featured a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
