Description
It was sold new to a prince in Bahrein, then ended up in Kuwait and imported to Sweden in the autumn of 1988, but was not registered for traffic until April 1990. The current owner bought the car at an executive auction in 1992 and has cared for it ever since. Winter stored in a dry and warm garage, driven sparingly in the summer months. The license plate GRACE can possibly be interpreted as something the car personifies, but is actually an abbreviation that comes from Japanese martial arts; Grounded Relaxed Aware Center Energy. The current owner practised the art as a youngster.

Soft and nice rolls Royce feeling in motor, gearbox and chassis. The engine compartment can easily be improved to a slightly nicer impression with washing and polishing. Otherwise dry and no visible leaks. The AC currently has no cooling function.

Interior condition
Nice interior with common wear on the left side of the driver's seat. Easily remedied with careful colouring and oiling of the leather. Nice headliner and nice classic walnut inlay on the dashboard in good condition.

Exterior condition
Adapted for warmer countries’ markets with typically white body colour. Some cracking on the bonnet and blisters around the antenna indicate an older repaint, and there is also documentation that tells of the prince having the car repainted a couple of times when he was not satisfied with the result when the car was new.

Unusual and peculiar Rolls with a fun history in a nice and reasonably used condition.

Facts about the model
Camargue var den första Rollsen som ritades av en designer utanför företaget, det vill säga Paolo Martin på Pininfarina. Den delade teknik och bottenplatta med både Corniche och Silver Shadow, men hade ett lite högre effektuttag. Mottagandet när den var ny var positivt och även om den sålde förhållandevis bra har bilhistorien slagit ner på dess utseende som också är minst sagt lite eget. James May på Top Gear sammanfattade det träffsäkert: "It's not ugly, either. It has presence, like that pug-faced but well-dressed bloke down the pub". A pug face kan liknas vid en boxarnäsa, ett tillplattat ansikte likt en mops, hundrasen heter just så på engelska, a pug.

General information about the condition of the vehicles .
- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
