Description
The V8 engine was reviewed before fitting, with the piston rings swapped. However, some rings might have been fitted incorrectly or were slightly worn. It's recommended to replace them to solve the oil burning issue. The car runs and drives fine but uses more oil than it should. Another option is to renovate the reserve engine and gearbox and refit them to keep it more standard. The interior features seats from a Lotus, reflecting its patina condition but remaining completely functional and usable.

Mechanical condition
The car starts and sounds great with its rumbling V8 engine. The gearbox works fine, and the brakes are good, but you will notice it burns some oil due to the piston rings needing fixing. A special oil cooler is fitted, so it never has issues with overheating. It is inspection exempt forever as it is. The wheels and hubcaps are in good condition, and it has good older tires.

Interior condition
The interior is functional and in usable condition, featuring Lotus seats with a worn, patina finish. Some newer gauges have been fitted for oil and voltage monitoring.

Exterior condition
The car underwent extensive welding and structural work on the underbody, while the rest of the bodywork was left as found, including older repair work around the front wings and sills, as well as dents and marks around the car. The only added features are the air intake on the bonnet, originally in the shape of a cake tin, a refitted front grill, and a bonnet strap. The paintwork remains as the owner found it, with nothing else fixed apart from treating and protecting the car with linseed oil to prevent further rusting.

General condition
Everyone stopped me and asked about this car while I was taking photos. They had never seen one before, especially in this condition. Personally, I love it as you can enjoy using it as is, but I'm sure someone else might see it as a renovation project to restore it to its former glory. Either way, it's a cool car.

- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
