• Mechanical condition

  The car starts easily and drives well. The engine idles smoothly and evenly. The four-speed gearbox, introduced in the autumn of 1958, operates without issue. Clutch and brakes function excellently, though there is some scraping from one of the front brake drums. All instruments work except for the clock. The dipped beam relay is acting up, but the owner plans to address the issue.

• Interior condition

  A truly fine and well-preserved original interior. The fabric headliner and door panels show minor discoloration due to condensation. All interior components appear to be original. The driver's seat backrest has been repaired. There is minor wear on the headliner between the rear side window and the rear window. The carpets have been replaced with high-quality material. The dashboard is intact and in good condition, retaining all original switches, as well as the factory-installed radio cover and clock (though the clock is non-functional).
  
  The front two-point seatbelts are in good condition. The engine bay is clean and tidy, with the original hood hinges still in place. However, the hood spring has lost some tension and has been discreetly reinforced with a modern spring tensioner.
  
  The luggage compartment is clean and intact, featuring an older-style spare tire. The original jack and hubcap removal tools are included, along with extra keys.

• Exterior condition

  A stylish color combination, repainted long ago in the original colors. The paint is in typical condition for a car of this age, with some minor imperfections—see photos. There is some limited rust at the bottom edge of the left front door. Otherwise, the car has been well repaired and thoroughly rustproofed. Sills and wheel arches are in good condition with no issues.

  A fine Amazon in excellent driving condition that turns heads wherever it goes.

• During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.

Important to know before placing your bids!

• Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
• When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
• If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
• If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
• Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
• For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
