Description
The car was owned and used by the family until the current owner purchased it in November 2020. It remains in very fine original condition, both exterior and interior, and has been well cared for by the current owner. It is very difficult to find even the slightest spot of dirt on the car.
The most recent inspection was carried out in June 2021 at 32,230 km, and since then it has only been driven 460 km. It is now exempt from tax and inspection. Keys, spare wheel, and jack are included.
As a piece of trivia, the original purchase agreement from 1974 still exists, showing the price at delivery as 31,515 SEK.

Facts about the model
Starting in 1970, a variant of the 145 model with a higher roof, called the 145 Express, was introduced. It was intended to replace the Volvo Duett, whose production ended in February 1969, but it never matched the success of its predecessor.
The 140 series is known as a milestone in Volvo’s history, representing the creation of the modern Volvo car with its boxy body, spacious interior, and strong focus on safety. The body design of the 140 series lived on through the 240 series well into the 1990s. While the front and rear sections were modified, the central part of the body remained largely unchanged, and doors from late-model 240s can be used on 144/145 models from the 1960s.
