Description
Today, the car has been owned by Tage Jingnert, legendary chairman of the Swedish Cadillac Automobile Club for many years. Among all the other caddy´s, this one was his favorite. During the 70's and 80's the car was completely refurbished and it received the same original color match repaint.
In the 1930s, the Cadillac revolutionized the market with its new 16-cylinder models, which quickly moved the brand to the real luxury car class. The 7.4-liter high-speed 185 hp engine with its overhead valves is considered to be one of the world's finest engines. Its consider as rock ship back in the 1930´s
The V16 models built between 1930 and 1937 and loss maker for Cadillac, it’s said that Cadillac never made a dollar in profit selling these models. Most models were built in1930, totaling 2,887 units were produced.

Everything in running order, just needs a new battery

Complete, nice and original, some small marks in the paint work. Upholstery and carpets still the original one.

A few spots and bubbles in the paint, mostly on the upper part of the car. Some small marks around the car. Very good overall condition.

Facts about the model

The Cadillac V-16 (also known as the Cadillac Sixteen) was Cadillac's top-of-the-line model from its January 1930 launch until 1940. The V16 powered car was a first in the United States, both extremely expensive and exclusive, with all chassis finished to custom order. Only 4076 were constructed in its 11-year run, with the majority built in its debut year before the Great Depression took strong hold. The onset of World War II reduced the sales, resulting it its demise.
