An amazing Jaguar XK140 fixed Head Coupe exciting history.

The car was sold new 1955 to English air Lieutenant Harrison Royal Air force. He owed the car up until 1966 when he sold it to the New Zealander Christopher Jeffrey, who was a rock artist who lived in England. In 1974 Johan Wikström bought the car and imported it to Gothenburg during 1975. The car was then garaged up until 1992 when it was sold to a Swedish collector and car expert who renovated the car for seven years into its new condition.
The whole car was dismantled and “nut and Bolt” renovation commenced. The engine was renovated and rebuilt, new interior was hand stitched by an expert in Alingsås and the dashboard and trim renovated, using the correct wood. New electrical system and many other detailed were ordered and replace from Jaguar. After seven years the car was completed and passed the vehicle inspection without any remarks. After this the car was shown on several big and events, British Car Week Rally, Jaguar Club are Concours d Elegance and Lundsbrunn, and won first prize, "Best in Show". Today the car still remains in top condition and very nice to drive.

The car has lots of history original registration certificate from England, handbooks, photographs and more. The combine of the cars history, professional renovation makes it one of Sweden's most sought after Jaguar coupé. Do not miss the bidding at Bilweb Auctions that ends this week.
