Ferguson TEA-20 Grålle 4 cylinder — 1954

A neat and charming Ferguson "Grålle" in a well-kept original factory condition. Today as made for veteran tractor meetings or just a trip to the lake. Unlike many other Grållar, this looks just as it should, correctly painted in "Grålle" grey – the same as the abdomen of a Spitfire.
The tractor is never renovated, just repainted and pampered. This Grålle who for many years lived its life on a farm in Blekinge is a TEA – meaning the gasoline engine of 26,3 horsepower. The carburetor is renovated and the tractor is now fine. Also recently serviced with fresh oil and new battery. The 4-step gearbox works well – including the start-up plug via the gearshift, something that otherwise is often out of operation. For those who would rather appreciate the cranking, there is also the possibility.
The brakes are as they should on a tractor only on the rear wheels and pull here slightly awry. Like all old tractors, it also moistens oil in its quarters but nothing serious. Front tires are newly made 400x19 with the right pattern, while the rear tires have some dry cracks, however, no serious. To this Grålle comes the original stabilizing brace to the lift arms, original press rod and original working lights. A practical but non-original loading bridge is also included. This particular copy is also written in the magazine classics.
Grålle is in many ways the perfect veteran tractor and entrance ticket in the tractor hobby – both easy, smooth and strong. In addition, you never have to feel lonely. Svenska Fergusonklubben Dapple has from the start 1986 gone from nine members to today over 6 500 pieces. Besides being offered a lot of activities, there are also some 20 "Grålle doctors" which, in case of problems, give tips and advice by telephone. Parts are no problem. Most of it is remanufactured to Grålle, and most are available at reasonable prices.

  Nice original condition. THe steering wheel have som cracks.

• Exterior condition

  Repainted with a bruscher in correct Ferguson grey colour. Original front and rear lamps not functioning.

• General condition

  Never renovated but repainted. Nice to drive.

Att det blev lilla grå Ferguson TE-20 som kom att bli den svenska småbrukarens favorit kan tackas ANA – Nyköpings Automobilfabrik. Genom sin generalagentur för brittiska Standard fick man tidigt höra talas om deras planer på att dra igång traktortillverkning på licens – och ANA var på hugget. Den 6 juli 1946 rullade första traktorn av linan i Coventry, och då stod redan AB Farming – ANA:s nya försäljningsorganisation redo i Sverige.
Nu handlade det inte om vilken tung järnklump som helst. Ferguson Grålle var snarare motsatsen med sina beskedliga 1 100 kilo, moderna toppventilsmotor och fyrväxlade låda. I kombination med differential, styrbromsar och revolutionerande trepunktslyft med automatisk kontroll av plöjningsdjupet bjöds det på helt andra möjligheter att ersätta hästen.
Priset spelade förstås en avgörande roll. Ferguson TE-20 skulle vara överkomlig för de mindre familjejordbruken. Det var Harry Ferguson noga med, och redan vid premiären talade han om sin plan, att globalt revolutionera jordbruket. Den agrara världen skulle bli den första att mekaniseras – inte den sista!
