Silver Spur MK1 in superb state-of-the-art undamaged original condition. The car has traveled 47304 miles. It was seven years old when it was imported to Sweden from the United States in 1990. Sweden has two owners. Purchased in 1992 by the seller, who was a huge car enthusiast, and has been a part of his car collection ever since. His estate is now sold it. The car has extensive documentation, including all original documents since new. Rolls-Royce sold in Illinois in 1982; warranty documentation are presented as an example (see photos).
Over the years, its been driven very little and always parked indoors. The car was last tested in 2013 and has only been driven once every summer since then. When we tested it, it started immediately. It's a pleasure to drive. There are no unusual noises or vibrations. However, we are unsure whether the air conditioning is operational. After a lengthy period of inactivity, it requires a simple servicing as well as an inspection. A spare wheel and the original jack are supplied. Rolls-well-proven Royce's L410 V8 engine of 6.75L with fuel injection and advertised power of 210hp, and General Motors' 3-speed automatic transmission THM400. The car drove nicely under photographing. Normally functioning car. Needs an inspection at the car test centre. Last approved car test was in 2013. May need a new battery.

Interior condition
Nice leather interior. A little wear on the leather of the driver's seat "see pictures". Lubrication with a leather treatment is recommended to give the interior the right lustre. Hardwood on the dashboard and door panels. Nice headliner. Fluffy floor carpets. Equipped with contemporary Blaupunkt radio, and cassette player from Pioneer. Excellent luggage space.

Stylish metallic paint in two shades of blue (looks like the original paint). Vinyl roof and glass sunroof. There are some small stone chips at the edge of the wings "See picture"

Works fine. No remarks other than the fault with the operation of the AC.

Facts about the model
Silver Spirit och dess systermodell Silver Spur, med lång hjulbas, introducerades 1980 och tillverkades fram till 1997. Karossen var helt ny, men tekniskt så flyttade man över drivlinan från föregångaren Silver Shadow och använde sin beprövade L410 V8-motor på 6,75L och den 3-stegade automatlådan THM400 från GM. Silver Spirit var den första Rolls där maskoten Spirit of Ecstasy försvann ner i kylaren om någon försökte stjäla den. Silver Spur tillverkades i 6 264 exemplar mellan 1980 och 1989.

Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
