Description
Front-wheel drive. The engine is a single-cylinder Villiers 250cc two-stroke engine located on the drive wheel. When you steer, the entire engine package follows. There is no reverse gear; instead, the entire car can be turned 90 degrees in both directions.
The body is made of aluminum, with a steel frame and a removable fiberglass hardtop. In Sweden, a pair of Bonds were sold in the early 1950s, but this one was imported in 1995. It is legal to drive on a standard B-licence.

Interior condition
Spartan, most likely original upholstery, worn but not fragile. The instrumentation is simple and functional, consisting of a meter and a few buttons. There is a steering wheel hub available.

Exterior condition
Completed without major damage. The car can almost certainly been repainted at some point. The paint had dried and flaked indicating its age. An older repair can be seen at a wheelhouse, but otherwise in a good used condition. There is creaking or rattling sound in the frame.

General condition
A beautifully patinated car in good working condition. It's a lot of fun to drive, and with a wheel in front, you have to plan your cornering.
Drive it as is or renovate it - either way, it will draw attention.

Efter kriget och under större delen av femtiotalet var det stor brist på bilar, och de var dyra. Vanliga arbetare hade i inte råd med bil, man fick nöja sig med cykel eller någon lätt motorcykel.
Så när mikrobilarna kom var det en sensation. Nu kunde man plötsligt ha råd med en bil. Förvisso primitiv, men ändå en bil, oftast till och med med tak.
Fördelen med tre hjul var att den då räknades som motorcykel och blev billigare i skatt.
Bondbilarna gjordes av Sharpes Commercials Ltd i Preston. Deras första Minicar kom 1949 och serien utvecklades fram till och med Mark.G som kom 1961. När den togs ur produktion 1966 hademan redan kommit med en modernare efterträdare - Bond 875 med en fyrcylindrig fyrtaktsmotor från Hilman Imp. 1969 köptes dom upp av konkurrenten Reliant.

Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
