Description
The engine is not the original; originally it was a 2 cylinder 2-stroke with cyfonkylning. Most of the Aero cars in the Czech Republic have replacement Wartburg engines as they were more reliable.
Before 1991 it was a renovation which I carried on with in 1994. The car was stripped down into parts and renovated in a workshop in the Czech Republic. It was completed in 1995 and still remains in show case condition now after 20+ years. Only driven on special occasions and always stored in a warm garage
The car came to Sweden 1988 from Czechoslovakia and became its current own in 1991
Technical data
Condition
-
Mechanical condition
Runs and drives prefectly with that heavenly 2 stroke sound. Would be a note 5 but the engine has been replaced, very common that people changed to a wartburg 2 stroke as it was more reliable.
-
Interior condition
Renovated to its original condition.
-
Exterior condition
Fully repainted in its original colour, it has a few minor paint chips around the bonnet edge and hair line paint crack on the rear passenger lower wing.
-
General condition
Show class car that makes you smile while driving and stops traffic. Perfect car for collectors, museums or just to enjoy owning something very original.
