The car was sold new in Germany and registered in Sweden in 2011, at which point it had covered approximately 115,000 km. A man in Norrland owned the car until 2024, when Fordonsjohan AB in Skellefteå took it in as a trade-in. The current owner purchased the car from them in 2025 and has maintained it continuously.

The car runs excellently and has been well serviced by its owners. The extensive equipment has not been fully tested, but the seller states that everything is in working order. Except for the rear parking sensor, which is not working. A fully stamped service book is included, see photos.

Lovely original interior with very few signs of use, high finish on all details. The headliner sags slightly above the rear seat.

Fine paint with a few door dings and minor scratches. The chrome is fine with nothing to remark on. Original wheels with good tires up front and worn tires in the rear. Studded winter tires in good condition are included.

Facts about the model
The 2007 Daimler Super Eight is the most exclusive version of the Jaguar XJ's X350/X358 generation and is built on the long XJ platform. Daimler was Jaguar's traditional luxury marque and had long been used for particularly lavish versions of the XJ.
The model is closely related to the Jaguar Super V8, but the Daimler version features an even more exclusive interior and a longer wheelbase. In Europe, the Daimler replaced the Super V8 as the top model in the mid-2000s. The Daimler Super Eight was produced in a very limited run; one source states 853 examples.
The car has Jaguar's 4.2-liter supercharged V8, 4,196 cm³, paired with a six-speed automatic gearbox. Output is around 395–400 hp and torque approximately 541–553 Nm, depending on market/specification.
The Daimler Super Eight is also a Long Wheelbase (LWB) model, providing a very spacious rear seat. Equipment could include exclusive leather, wood paneling and folding picnic tables, power rear seats, double glazing, navigation, and an advanced sound system. A British 2007 example demonstrates the very extensive level of equipment.

- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
