Description
It was sold new to its first owner in Nanaimo, British Columbia, Canada, in November 2000. He drove it until 2011 when the car got its second owner in the same city. In 2014, it was exported to Sweden and registered here in January 2015. It ended up with a Cadillac enthusiast in Ystad through a dealer, who drove it more or less every summer season until the current owner, a company from Vellinge, took over the car earlier this year and drove it for one summer. A transversely mounted V8 with the typically cool American name, Northstar. It delivers a smooth and powerful pull, accompanied by a distinctive sound and a particularly sharp tone at higher RPMs. The transmission is responsive and shifts just right when the driver demands it.

Facts about the model
When the new Eldorado was launched in 1992, almost everything was new, with clear lines borrowed from the Cadillac Solitaire design study. Almost immediately after its debut, Cadillac introduced the new 32-valve Northstar V8, available in both 270 and 295 hp versions. In the Eldorado, the engine was mounted transversely, and together with front-wheel drive, sales were strong, though not record-breaking.
In 1995, a model with updated bumpers and a new grille was introduced. The following year, the Eldorado received a new interior and an analog instrument cluster. The Cadillac Eldorado of the tenth generation was sold until 2002 and came in two versions: ETC – Eldorado Touring Coupe, and Eldorado Sport Coupe, ESC.
In 2001, GM announced an upcoming anniversary model to celebrate Eldorado’s 50 years on the market. This would also be the final Eldorado. When it was released in 2002, it was a limited edition in the same red and white colors as the 1953 model. These 1,596 special cars also featured a custom exhaust system designed to make the car sound like it did in the past. Production of the Cadillac Eldorado ended on April 22, 2002.

General information about the condition of the vehicles .
- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
