This Opel has had three owners, all within the same family since 1969. The car has been kept in a garage during both winter and summer when it wasn't in use. It was driven according to a logbook from May to October, but was used sporadically and rarely since 1996. According to the owner, it has been serviced and inspected annually without any issues. The Opel was renovated in 2016/2017, but there are no records or details about what was renovated. The most recent repair was in 2019, when both the right and left lower ball joints were replaced. The owner states that the car has never been repainted, though there are touch-ups and damage present. The last inspection was performed on June 10, 2019, and the car is now exempt from inspection. The engine starts, but the clutch is stuck, so the car has not been road-tested. The original owner’s manual and some documentation are included, along with a book titled “Maintenance and Driving of Your GM Car.” The odometer has likely rolled over once. The Opel requires some renovation, which should be considered by the new owner.

The engine starts with an external battery, as the installed one is in poor condition. It sounds as expected. The car cannot be disconnected from the external battery, so it hasn't been test-driven. The braking system, steering, and other equipment have not been checked due to this.

The interior is in somewhat worn condition. There is adhesive and holes in the headliner. The floor mats are in normal condition for the car's age.

Facts about the model
The Opel Kadett B was introduced in 1966 and built until 1973. It was largely based on the technology of its predecessor but was slightly larger, with a more elegant body. It was available in sedan and coupe models, as well as a station wagon called the Caravan. An unusual version, the Olympia, was a more luxurious variant of the Kadett but was otherwise identical to the Kadett apart from trim and engines.
The Kadett B also offered larger engines; the standard was now 1100 cc, with options for 1500, 1700, and later 1900 cc in the popular Rallye Kadett (Coupe) and Kadett Sport (Sedan). The large 90 DIN hp engine provided the Rallye Kadett and Kadett Sport with impressive performance, leading to significant success in motorsports. Encouraged by these achievements, Opel developed an even stronger Rallye Kadett with a 1900 cc engine tuned to 106 DIN hp, known as the "Sprint," similar to the larger Rekord model when fitted with the tuned engine.
The 1100S engine was 10 hp stronger than the base version. The coupe model is the most sought-after and is now quite rare, as these cars were used extensively and suffered from significant rust issues.

- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
