"A technically and historically interesting car that is very rare today. Few are as well-preserved as this one."

Description

The Volkswagen K70 originally started as an NSU. Early press photos clearly show the NSU emblem. Volkswagen acquired the debt-ridden NSU in 1969, just as the K70 was completed. It was unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show that year, and it’s said that the emblems were swapped out on the morning before the show opened.

This particular car was sold new in Gotland and has remained there ever since. It has had only three owners from new and was off the road from 2005 to 2020. It has since passed inspection without any issues.

There is some uncertainty regarding the mileage displayed on the odometer: 41 000 km or potentially 141 000 miles if the meter has rolled over. Regardless, the mileage is low, and the car’s condition largely reflects the lower figure. Complete with the original spare wheel, tool kit, and studded tires.

In good condition and well-maintained inside. The seats are in great shape and come with seat covers. There is a small tear on one of the door panels, but otherwise, there are no damage and very minimal wear.

  • Exterior condition:

In good condition with the paint, trim, and chrome, though there is a slight damage on the front bumper. According to information, the original paint is likely mostly intact.
