Description
The engine has been replaced, resulting in a more potent vehicle, and some subtle custom tricks have been employed. Lowered suspension, replaced rear lights, and a relocated license plate contribute to its appearance. The vehicle was registered in 1983 and has since had 5 owners. The current owner has had it since 2011.
Since its inspection in 2014, it has only been driven 440 kilometers. It has thus been used sparingly, and since 2016, it has been stored in a garage. The odometer currently reads 75060 kilometers. We don't know its total mileage.
The bus needs to be taken to the vehicle inspection. It was last approved in 2014, so it needs one last approved inspection. After that, it will be exempt from inspection according to vintage vehicle rules. The original jack and spare wheel are missing.

Exterior condition
Sleek and tidy exterior. An older repaint that is still in good condition. Next to the VW badge on the front, there is a crack in the paint. It's likely an older bodywork dent showing itself. See photos. The body has undergone some sheet metal repairs. The floor panels on the underside have been replaced with straight sheets, as was often done in the past. The owner has acquired the correct floor panels, which are included. These are epoxy primed. See separate photo. A mild customization has been done, and the rear end of the bus has been retrofitted. The space for the license plate in the engine cover has been filled in, and the rear lights have been replaced with the smaller 1950s lights. Equipped with a sunroof and an opening windshield.
The body alignment could have been better. Examine the photos closely. -
General condition
The overall impression is very good. With the lowered suspension, it has the right look that suits contemporary Volkswagen collectors.
