"With its history and condition, it is a very unique bike from the Swedish Road Racing era of the early 1970s."

Description

This bike came to Sweden in 1970. It was one of two taken into the country that year. The first race was in Falkenberg driven by Kjell Bogren, then it was driven by Sven-Olof (Esso) Gunnarsson in the years 1970-1971. He had great success both in Sweden and internationally. The number 12 at the Swedish Grand Prix in Anderstorp was the first victory in the 500 cc class by a Swedish driver since 1934. After the two years of competition, it was sleeping peacefully in a barn outside Mariefred until 2016, when an enthusiast acquired the MC.

It was slowly restored to its original condition, whereas many parts as possible were reused, e.g. the fibreglass tank is complete in its original condition, but a new aluminium one was made and is used when driving.
