Ford Model TT Truck — 1923

A charming truck with a nice self-built cab, as they appeared during the T-Ford era. The trucks were sold as chassis only, so the owners had to build their own cabs to suit their needs. In good condition, it could make a good promotional car mascot for a business.

"Car is complete and in good condition . The engine spins around but isn't tested. After starting the service, it should work. For the past 20 years, it has been housed in a museum. The battery is not included in the delivery. The parts on the flatbed and suitcase are not included in the purchase."

Description

TT is the designation for T-Ford trucks. A larger and stronger frame, as well as stronger axles, distinguishes a regular T-Ford. To get more power to pull heavy loads, the rear axle has a lower gear ratio. To withstand the load, the trucks have steel rims. This copy has a nice chassis that has been restored at some point in the past. Because it is not registered in the current car register, the car was most likely not driven after the renovation. The cab and flatbed is constructed of wood in a period-appropriate design. Other body parts on the truck, such as the wings, hood, and radiator, are TT-ford originals. Ford sold them with only the hood and wings, and it was up to the owner to build (or have built) the cab and flatbed to their specifications. For its time, the TT model was regarded as a tough, capable, and dependable truck. Although the car is not started, the engine rolls around. As an exhibit car it sold unregistered.

NOTE: There are loose parts and a suitcase visible in the photos. These items are not included in the purchase but maybe forsale later?

The engine spins, but it hasn't been tested. Power is transferred from the engine to the rear axle via a 20hp 4cyl engine and TT-ford Axles. No battery included.

  • Interior condition:

Complete and clean. One seat is black leather, and the rest of the interior is wood.

  • Exterior condition:

Gray-painted wood body. The cab and flatbed are custom-built and fully functional. The rest of the body is a Ford TT that has been painted black and looks great in the metalwork.

  • General condition:

Completely and beautifully displayed. Unregistered museum item sold for exhibition purposes. Because the documents are missing, the buyer must complete the registration if needed.
