Mechanical condition
Equipped with the most recent 841cc two-stroke engine from Saab. The engine is equipped with a triple carburetor and independent oil lubrication. In this Monte Carlo model, 52 horsepower was provided. Front disc brakes and a 4-speed transmission. Alternator. Last driven in traffic in 2015 Starts smoothly and operates normally. Inspection examination and servicing are required. The separate oil lubrication is detached, and two-stroke oil is mixed directly with the gasoline in the fuel tank.

Interior condition
Very nice sports interior with no discernible wear and tear. Nice headliner. Wooden steering wheel. The proper instrumentation, including traditional sports gauges.
Rear seat handles are little deteriorated. The carpet is worn and stained. The front rubber mats are in brand-new condition. The special threshold kick plates that sat solely on Sport and Monte Carlo are missing. Featuring two-point belts. Excellent baggage compartment with original mat. -
Exterior condition
Only a few stone chips and scratches on this earlier professional repaint. Minor stone chips around the wing edges. A little damage has appeared on the right front wing. On the left front wing, there is a crack near the wing edge. In good condition, superb chrome and mouldings. There is no rust.

General condition
One of the better Saab Sports we've ever seen. Completely Original. Older repaint with great paintwork and interior. When it revs, the engine sounds fantastic.

Facts about the model
Den första stora förändringen på Saab 96 kom 1965. En helt ny längre front ersatte den äldre trubbigare fronten. Nutida Saabentusiaster brukar hänvisa till de olika tidsperioderna såsom trubbnos eller långnos. 1966 hade Saab V-4 motorn liggandes redo i kulisserna att införas. Man beslöt att göra en riktigt påkostad avslutning på tvåtaktseran. Man döpte om sin top of the line modell av Saab Sport till Monte Carlo. Man gjorde det som en hyllning till Erik Carlsson "på taket".
Monte Carlo 1966 hade tvåtaktsmotor på 841 cc med trippelförgasare och separat oljesmörjning. Skivbromsar fram och fyrväxlad låda. Sportig inredning med nackstöd för kartläsaren. Sportratt i trä, varvräknare och inbyggd klocka med sekundvisare. Baksätet var en enklare variant, som hade gott om utrymme i särskilda stuvfack i botten för rallyutrustning, såsom extra reservdelar och snökedjor (se bilderna).

- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
