It is powered by an Opel 1000 cc four-cylinder engine that delivers 48 horsepower in this configuration. The original air filter has been replaced with a sporty filter. The car has been converted to a 12-volt electrical system and is outfitted with a strong 55 amp generator. The brakes are the original single-circuit braking system. Rear-wheel drive with a 4-speed transmission. Original wheel suspension with leaf springs. Original 12 inch metal wheels.

Strictly business is how the interior is characterised. Momo rally seats, roll bar, and sports steering wheel; equipped as a driver car and rally advertising car. The instrumentation includes a tachometer, primary switch, and large buttons for the most critical tasks. Original vinyl door cards There are no rubber mats or sound isolation. In a nutshell, useful yet also stylish.

Exterior condition
The bodywork is straight and nice. An older repainting with rally stripes. The outer hood lock is attached to the bonnet and boot lid. Moldings and bumpers in good condition. Above the headlights, there are minor rust blisters.

Facts about the model
Kadettens största konkurrent i klassen var Volkswagens ”bubbla”. Kadett hade dock större utrymme för både passagerare och bagage. Dessutom hade den vattenkyld motor och därmed en stor fördel, den hade inga problem att värma upp passagerarutrymmet.
Kadett A blev en mycket populär bil. Den byggdes både som coupé och herrgårdsvagn. Totalt byggdes mer än 649 000 exemplar av bilen.

- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
