Description
In addition to normal servicing and care, in recent years it has received a refurbished automatic transmission (274,210 km), a new timing belt and water pump (303,840 km), and the front end has been overhauled with a new tie rod, both control arms, upper and lower wishbones, as well as front and rear suspension arms. At the same time the cooling fan and throttle body were also replaced (325,830 km). The AC has been checked and refilled (325,950 km). Front-end alignment (336,060 km). New oil and filter for the automatic transmission and a new lambda sensor (339,330 km). New windshield in autumn 2024.
It has been driven less and less in recent years; previously it was used extensively for highway driving and long trips to the owner’s residence in Central Europe, where he will soon relocate—hence the sale.
Included with the car are excellent winter tires, Michelin Alpin on steel rims with very low mileage, manuals and a completed service book and rust-protection booklet, as well as many receipts. Two keys are included. The original CD changer is also supplied.
The car passed inspection without remarks on August 12 this year and is ready to drive.

Mechanical condition
Starts easily and the engine and drivetrain ran smoothly, but the battery began to hesitate, so a new one has been purchased and installed. During a short test drive everything appeared to function well, including steering, handling (sports chassis), automatic transmission with working kickdown, brakes, etc. Aluminum body and solid rust protection underneath. Not inspected on a lift, but everything visible looked good. No remarks during the vehicle inspection.

Interior condition
Nice and well-kept original interior. Good comfort in the front seats and rear bench. Clean door panels, trim pieces, wood details, carpets and headliner. Rubber floor mats. Steering wheel, controls, dashboard and gauges are in good and functioning condition. Equipped with the usual electric features and all the boxes ticked on the options list, including Navigator Plus, with everything working well except for the height adjustment of the driver’s headrest.

Exterior condition
Nice paintwork in good condition considering its age and mileage, which appears to be original, with areas that have been addressed as normal maintenance when minor damage was discovered. Glass, trim, emblems, and lighting components are in good condition. Attractive wheels and newer Michelin Primacy 4 tires, about 1,000 km. The engine bay and luggage compartment are in fine original condition. The tool kit is complete.

General condition
A sober highway cruiser and comfort car, packed with technical solutions that, after 25 years, still function largely as intended today. After long and faithful service, it is now on its way toward classic and enthusiast status.

Facts about the model
For the 2000 model year, a minor update was introduced with a revised front end, including larger clear headlights, a new grille, and a lower front spoiler with newly integrated fog lights. Otherwise, the exterior changes were mostly detail updates. The interior was also revised. Engine options were a 2.8 V6 or a 4.2 L V8, the latter available with either a short or long wheelbase.
In the year 2000, 12,894 units were produced.

- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
