Description
It was discovered by the current owner as a proper barn find when buying a property. The vehicle was then restored by a group of non-profit enthusiasts at Volvo Construction Equipment plant in Arvika and then put out on exhibition at the Arvika Motor Museum. After this it spends its time at the owner's property.
Technical data
Condition
-
Mechanical condition
The car could not be started at the time of documentation due to corrosion on the spark plug caps, but the engine is rebuilt and went flawlessly when it was put into storage after a time at the Arvika Motor Museum. The owner has after our visit fixed the spark plug caps and the car runs on its own power, as can be seen in the film clip.
-
Interior condition
Guages and controls are all original from the car's first pre-war period of life. The beautiful wooden steering wheel really enhances that feeling.
-
Exterior condition
Carefully restored without overdoing it. For exemple the car has an overall genuine feeling with its cabin doors coming from an old wardrobe closet. The Volvo emblem on the radiator and the old pure metal tractor wheels emphasizes the farming provenance.
-
General condition
A vehicle to cherish as the historical item it is. The history together with the restoration are all a part of the phenomenon of the post-war EPA tractors of Sweden.
