Facts about the model
1953 was the last year model with split rear window. Even VW and other makes went to full back window this year.
Split was considered out of date why Volvo cities and sold redevelopment rates to modernize the car. Many customers went on to update the car instead of switching to a newer one. So, with this car, it was rebuilt in 1954 to a full rear window. Well done and historically interesting. (Very likely, it was the car dealer who sold this new one who rebuilt it, because they were very hard sold in the old version. It was based on the first date of sale sold out for 1.5 years before it was taken. Maybe because of the old rear window, first with new was it possible to sell?)
A fun detail is that the rear window is mounted upside down. Unique car with this story. The conversion was certainly not cheap.

Auction information
General information about the condition of the cars in Olofström
- The cars in the museum has been started and driven regularly since 2003, however they have not been tested annually by the Swedish car inspection authorities.
- Some of the cars has been stored in non-heated garages. These cars are in need of service and review of breaks. Some cars require more extensive renovation. Specific information is available under the description of each car.
- The batteries are unusable in some of the cars and the tires are old.
- For this auction the cars are not declared as vehicles of daily/normal usage, rather they are described from a collecting perspective.

- If you have won an auction where the reservation price is passed, please deposit to our client account the full amount before you arrange for pick up of any items.
- You will be fully refunded, including the bidding fee, if you at the time of inspection and delivery is of the opinion that the description of the item does not match its real condition.
