Description
This Saab 9-3 has had the same owner since August 2003. The owner is now getting on in years and is giving up driving. The odometer shows a modest 64,280 km, which is also reflected in the car's condition, which is mostly good. The Saab has been stored in a heated garage. It was inspected this October with no remarks, and the next inspection is therefore not due until December 31, 2027. The owner's manual and service book are included, but the service book is not fully completed. According to the owner, the car most recently received new engine oil and an oil filter this past spring. The tires are all-season and were fitted two years ago, and they have good tread depth. Two keys are included.

Mechanical condition
Starts and runs well, with the engine and gearbox performing properly. No unusual noises were heard during the test drive. The electrical functions have been tested and work, but both displays on the center console have pixel defects – see photos.

Interior condition
The interior is intact, and the driver's seat shows only minor wear on the left side of the backrest – an area that often sees heavy use. However, the light-colored upholstery has many large stains and would need reconditioning.

Exterior condition
There is no visible rust on the body. The hood has some stone chips, and there are scrape marks in several places on the body, including the left outside mirror, the spoiler on the trunk lid, and the bumpers.

General condition
A Saab 9-3 with a short ownership history and low mileage. With reconditioning it would be even nicer, and with the pixel faults in both displays fixed, you'd have a superb car.

Facts about the model
In January 1998, the Saab 9-3 premiered at the Detroit Auto Show in the USA. The car was essentially an updated second-generation Saab 900, but to tie the model lineup together with the new 9-5, the smaller model was given a new name. Exterior updates included a new grille, and the position of the license plate on the tailgate had been moved. Another novelty was that, for the first time, a Saab was available with a diesel engine; the 2.2 TiD had been developed by Steyr-Puch and was manufactured by Opel. In May 2002, production of the first-generation 9-3 ended in Trollhättan. However, production of the five-door version continued at the factory in Nystad, Finland, until the turn of April/May 2003. In retrospect, the model is now referred to as the 9-3 OG – Old Generation – to distinguish it from its successor.

- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
