"Perhaps the most classic Volvo model ever built. In outstanding condition throughout, and our inspection of the car found nothing to fault."

Description

Purchased from Ucars Exclusive by the current owner in 2020. The highly meticulous owner immediately decided to repaint the car and also fit new exterior trim. The engine, which was deemed to be in good condition, was left untouched apart from service items such as oils etc. The interior also received certain improvements. A wealth of documentation accompanies the car. This includes inspection reports, a workshop manual, and numerous receipts from the restoration. No expense has been spared on this car and nothing has been left to chance. The car comes with a spare wheel, original jack, and original tools. One key is included.

Condition

  • Mechanical condition

The engine runs remarkably quietly, smoothly and beautifully. Pulls nicely in all gears. No rattles or other noises can be heard from the body. The clutch, brakes and suspension work flawlessly. Fine Nock-on type wheels with good tires, probably from 2021. However, the original wheels are missing.

  • Interior condition

The interior is also in outstanding condition. Selected sections of the upholstery have been retrimmed in new leather, as shown in the photos. The carpets have also been custom-made. The door panels and dashboard are in excellent condition, and the headlining is also well preserved.

  • Exterior condition

A very high-quality paint job, professionally carried out by skilled specialists. The seams normally visible on the sills have been filled and subsequently painted in the body colour. New bumpers and chrome trim. The exterior is in like-new condition.

  • General condition

Among the finest 1800S examples I have inspected. Attractive color scheme and somewhat more unusual than the all-too-common red or white cars.
