Description
The current owner has recently shifted the focus of their car collection and will now sell this unusual Volvo 145 specification for the US market. This means, among other things, that it has the new K-Jettronic injection for 1974. Leather upholstery is also unique to the United States. The spare wheel tubs were replaced about 15 years ago, when the car was renovated. Body is in excellent condition.The bonnet, tailgate, and doors were removed prior to full repaint. The engine has been renovated and re-evaluated. It looks and sounds great. he brakes have recently been overhauled. Replace the shock absorbers as well as the red springs. A new fuel pump and water pump were recently installed. Oil, filter, and plug have all been replaced. 6.5-inch-wide wheels that have been recently refurbished and have good tires. Converted to using unleaded fuel.

1966 lanserade Volvo nya 140-serrien, ett par senare kom den ikoniska kombin 145 som tog över efter Amazon i herrgårdsvagnsutförande. Volvo hade tidigt förstått att erbjuda en funktionell bil med brett användningsområde. För den moderna barnfamiljen passade kombikoncept som hand i handske. Det rymliga bagageutrymmet sväljde avsevärda prylar och snabbt blev 145 svenskarnas favorit nummer ett.
De tidigaste 145:orna anses som mycket eftertraktade. På grund av sina goda egenskaper fick de allra flesta Volvo 145 slita ont och hårt, som ”basbil” försvann de stora flertalet till skroten efter att tjänat familjer, hantverkare och andra brukare efter 15-20 år.
Designen på Volvo 145 är ikonisk, designchefen Jan Wilsgaard satte stilkonceptet på hur framtida herrgårdsvagnar skulle se ut för lång tid framöver. Fortfarande i modern tid inspireras Volvos designer av formerna. Särskilt lättheten i linjespelet tillsammans med de rymliga innerutrymmena är eftertraktat.
Speciellt för dessa sena 145:or är den modernare instrumentpanelen, ratten, ny front. På 1974 kom också de karaktäristiska stötfångarna som var ett krav från den amerikanska marknaden. De skulle klara en krock upp till 5 km/h utan att behöva repareras.

- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends.
