Description

This car is owned by a well-known VW enthusiast from Bors, who has repaired many VW Beetles for use over the years. Very well built by one of the country's most skilled Mercedes mechanics. Built on a shortened 1500-bottom plate with a classic plastic buggy body. The engine is a tuned H motor with a great sounding sport exhaust, front disc brakes, wide tires, and white-spoke rims. The car was originally owned and housed in the VW museum in Pålsboda from 1997 until the owner purchased it in 2019. After years in the museum, it is now up and running; it drives and sounds great, and everyone stops and looks when you drive by. The car is in excellent condition and comes with a wet weather roof and door sides that are reasonably easy to install. Because the owner has too many projects and not enough time, this is your chance to get something cool for the summer.

  • Mechanical condition:

It's easy to start and fun to drive, with strong brakes and an easy-to-shift gearbox. It has a minor oil leak coming from the gearbox that only requires a gasket to be replaced.

  • Interior condition:

The interior is nice and clean and comfortable, with a radio cassette player. There's also a nicely fitted back seat and a padded roll bar.

  • Exterior condition:

The paintwork and detailing are brilliant, with only minor stone chips and marks. The underbody is very clean and well painted, with no damage, and the wheels and tires are in good condition.

  • General condition:

It is still one of the nicest Beach Buggys we have seen; it has been professionally built and looks fantastic, and it is fully registered in Sweden. Last inspection was done in 2019 and thus the final one. It's ready for the beach forever.

Facts about the model
