Description
It was registered for road use in November 2003, and according to the service book, the first service was not carried out until October 10, 2004, at 16,740 km. The car was most likely a demo or press car with the general importer for the better part of that year. The car has had a caring chain of ownership, hence its fine condition today. The first owner was a law firm in Stockholm, which took delivery of the car in May 2005. It then passed to another Stockholm resident, and eventually the XJR found its way all the way up to Skellefteå and a couple who used it sparingly, covering around 50,000 km over just over 10 years. The current owner bought the car there, in his hometown, before moving to Skåne, where he has also worked at the Jaguar specialist Joes Garage in Furulund. The most recent passed inspection was carried out on 2026-09-07.

The supercharger whines beautifully, the engine delivers fine power, and the gearbox shifts correctly. Good bite in the brakes, and the chassis feels tight and solid with a torsionally rigid body. Last year, 2025, the owner carried out a major service including spark plugs, oil service including the diff, air filter, fuel filter, brake fluid, supercharger oil, wiper blades, and brake discs/pads. This year, 2026, the ZF gearbox received an oil service.

Interior condition
Clean, attractive, and well-maintained interior. After just over 170,000 km, there is no notable entry wear on the driver's seat, which is worth noting. All equipment works flawlessly, including the climate control. And for those with a CD collection in their drawers at home, the CD changer also works surprisingly flawlessly.

Exterior condition
A handsome and well-cared-for black paint with a fine depth after just over 170,000 km. The owner has had the grille painted black to tone down the appearance slightly. Newer GoodYear Eagle F1 tires from 2023 on undamaged original 19-inch wheels.

A truly fine and well-kept overall impression. The total mileage must reasonably have been covered during the summer months — a winter-driven car does not look like this underneath.

Facts about the model
The XJR with internal code XJ350 represents one of the greatest technical leaps in the brand's history. When the model rolled out onto the market, a small revolution was hidden beneath the familiar lines. For the first time, Jaguar had engineered a full aluminum body using aviation-inspired technology, with the chassis riveted and bonded together. This made the car around 40 percent lighter than its steel predecessor, despite having grown in every dimension to provide much-needed space in the cabin and trunk.
The dramatic weight reduction laid the foundation for outstanding performance. Under the hood of the performance flagship XJR sat a 4.2-liter supercharged V8 engine delivering 395 horsepower, paired with a modern six-speed automatic gearbox from ZF. The low weight, combined with the advanced self-leveling air suspension, gave the car a rare dual nature; it offered the classic, floating Jaguar comfort in relaxed driving, but transformed into an agile sports car capable of sprinting from 0 to 100 km/h in around 5 seconds when the driver pressed the throttle.

For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
