"Beautiful car with an elegant color scheme. The replacement engine, together with the four-speed gearbox, provides a very smooth drive."

Description

From the history we have been able to gather, this car has had four owners. The current owner bought it about 10 years ago and has cared for it lovingly ever since. It has always been stored in a heated garage with a dehumidifier. The car was repainted at some point in its life.

There are a few minor things that could be improved if desired. A faint but long scratch can be found on the right door. A few rust bubbles are visible on the right front wing by the headlamp, as well as one under the rear bumper on the right-hand side (see pictures). None of this significantly detracts from the fine overall impression.

A replacement engine was fitted by the previous owner, namely the reliable 280 Twincam six-cylinder, which was installed around 10 years ago. At that time, the engine had covered about 100,000 km. The current owner has driven the car sparingly, just about 1,300 km over the last 10 years.

All mechanicals are in good working order. It sits on fine Baroque wheels with good tires, about 5 years old. The car was inspection-exempted (“besiktigad för all framtid”) in May 2020.

  • Mechanical condition:

The technical condition is very good. The engine purrs nicely and the gears engage smoothly. Brakes are well maintained. A new radiator and new stainless-steel exhaust system have been fitted by the current owner. All oils have been changed recently. All instruments are fully functional. The car comes with two sets of keys.

  • Interior condition:

Very well-kept interior. The fabric carpet on the driver’s side is worn beneath the fine original rubber mats. Panels, headliner, trims, and glass are in good condition. Fully functioning electric sunroof.

  • Exterior condition:

As previously mentioned, there are a few minor exterior details that could be improved if desired. All glass, light units, and bumpers are in good condition. The condition of the luggage compartment is also good and well cared for.

  • General condition:

A beautiful car that turns heads wherever it goes. The engine upgrade feels absolutely right, and the power is there whenever you want it. A car to be seen in at all the classic car gatherings across the country.
