"A top-restored Isabella Coupe in excellent condition. Leaves a very good impression both inside and outside."

Description

The Borgward Isabella Coupé is considered one of the most beautiful German cars of the 1950s. It's highly rare and sought after today, internationally.

This car was originally sold in Sweden and had a single owner until 1975. It has since had a few owners until 2022 when the current owner purchased it.

The car was in need of renovation, leading to an extensive restoration project. The body was welded and professionally repainted. The engine underwent a complete overhaul, along with the brakes and other technical components. Finally, a new interior in its original design was installed. Overall, the car became a top-quality example suitable for both enthusiast driving and exhibitions.

Facts about the model

A modern car when it was introduced in 1954. It featured an overhead valve engine, independent suspension all around, and a self-supporting body. Many people also found the car stylish, and sales quickly gained momentum. Customers appreciated its performance, comfort, and handling. However, the story of Borgward and Isabella came to an end with bankruptcy in 1962. By that time, they had produced over 200,000 cars.
