Description
This tractor has always run in Norrbotten and had the same owner from 1952 to 1981, when it was sold to a private individual in Boden, who gave it to Holger's tractor museum in Över-Kalix in 2000. The tractor here had been in original condition for nearly 20 years and was started every spring before it ended up with tractor experts in Olofström, who serviced it and restored it to its original condition this winter.
The front tires, headlights, ignition lock, and a new contemporary Allgaier emblems in the front have all recently been replaced. Both the body and the wheels have been professionally painted in the original color. Since the orange Allgaier AP17 was replaced by a red Allgaier AP17 (with a different hood) the following year, this model has become a collector's item due to its chubby appearance, which draws attention at every tractor show.

Facts about the model
Allgaier traktorer med "Porsche-system" tillverkades i Tyskland från krigsslutet fram till 1955 på licens från Porsche Diesel. Denna modell, AP 17 fick konkurrenterna att häpna, när den kom 1951, kompakt och modern, med låg vikt (chassie i aluminium), luftkyld tvåcylindrig motor och oljehydraulisk koppling till ett fördelaktigt pris. Hela produktionskapaciteten såldes slut fösta månaderna. Modellen byggdes i 5500 exemplar fram till och med 1952, då den ändrades till AP17 till Porsche-röd lackering och fick en annan design på motorhuv och namnet Porsche Diesel AP17 på sidorna (17 står för hästkrafter).
Eftersom den röda modellen byggdes i mer än 50.000 exemplar är denna tidiga i orange kulör ett mycket intressant samlarobjekt, särskilt i Tyskland, där de oranga är ovanliga nuförtiden och sticker ut bland alla röda Porsche traktorer. Tillfälle för samlare att köpa ett riktigt fint exemplar.

- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. - During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
