"A well-renovated enthusiast car in good driving condition. There is no immediate need for repairs, only ongoing maintenance."

Description

This car was purchased brand new in 1947 by AB Gense in Eskilstuna, Sweden's oldest company. Until the mid-1950s, it was used as an executive car there.
After that, the car was found by a family in Gärdet, Stockholm. This family also lived in Benidorm, Spain. As a result, the Chrysler had to travel back and forth through post-war Europe until the 1960s. The car was stopped in the mid-60s at his wife's parents' home in Bäckebo outside Nybro after the mayor of Benidorm repeatedly reminded himself that it was registered in Sweden.
The car was left in a garage until the mid-1980s. The car was in such bad shape that it changed hands several times before the previous owner bought it in 1987. Three years later, in 1990, he had restored the car and had it re-registered.
He was able to contact his wife, who was a second owner, in the early 1990s and corresponded with her for fifteen years until her death. As a result, he learned a lot of fun and interesting stories about the car and its fate, as well as some old photos.
The car was originally dark blue, but after rust repair, he decided to paint it creamy white. The car has been driven approximately 1500 miles and has been in use for nearly thirty years. It has a straight Spitfire 8 engine and Fluid Drive, a semi-automatic transmission. The car runs well and is comfortable to travel in,  It has also been used at numerous weddings, student events, and other occasions.
The car was sold at Bilweb Auctions 2019 to current owners who have enjoyed the car but use it far too infrequently. As a result, someone else should be able to care for and enjoy this wonderful car.
