"Skillfully restored Suzuki that, after a startup service, is ready to hit the road."

Description

Bilweb Auctions can now offer a collection of Suzuki and Honda motorcycles from the 1960s and 1970s, all but one restored to excellent condition by the same owner between 2004 and 2020.

Everything down to the smallest detail has been refurbished or replaced with new: professional paintwork, chrome, engine, saddle, new tires, and more. Absolute originality has been a must.

All motorcycles have been ridden very little since their restorations—no more than 300 km each.

The current owner has had this bike for 18 years, and it was fully restored in 2010: paint, engine, chrome. Since then, it has only covered about 100 km.

Today, it is essentially in like-new condition, but will require a startup service since it has not been ridden for several years.

Condition

  • Mechanical condition:

The motorcycle has been fully restored but has not been ridden for several years, which is why a startup service is needed. The engine turns over with good compression, and the brakes engage without sticking.

  • Exterior condition:

An exterior in impeccable condition—everything has been restored: paint, chrome, and wheels with new tires.

  • General condition:

Rare Suzuki off-roader that performs both in terrain and on the open road. A great opportunity for the Suzuki enthusiast.

Facts about the model

The RV125 was introduced as a 1972 model and aimed primarily at the American market. It was marketed as an all-terrain off-road machine for mud, snow, and sand. Advertising images showed both young people riding on the beach and farmers out in the fields.

The model was reportedly sold in Sweden for only a short time, and in very few units. Today, just four RV125s are registered in Sweden—three from the 1973 model year and one from 1976.
