"Fully equipped Saab, including a panoramic roof. The car runs excellently and looks good, with only a few minor defects."

Description

This Saab was imported from Germany in 2016, and a man from Lund bought it. Another owner had it between 2016 and 2020, when it was sold to the current owner via KVD car auctions. Since then, it has been used sparingly for shorter trips and has only covered a few hundred kilometers.

The Saab 9-4X was developed during Saab’s final years under General Motors (GM) ownership and was the brand’s entry into the growing segment of premium crossover SUVs, intended to compete with the Volvo XC60, BMW X3, and Audi Q5. The model was built on GM’s Theta Premium platform, which it shared with the Cadillac SRX, and made its world debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show in 2010, with production starting in April 2011.

This example is powered by a 3.0-liter V6 engine producing 265 hp, paired with Saab’s advanced XWD all-wheel-drive system. The design is unmistakably Saab — inspired by the Aero X concept, featuring the brand’s signature “ice-block” headlights, curved windshield, and aviation-inspired interior with night panel and a driver-focused dashboard.

A total of only around 814 Saab 9-4X units were produced, of which roughly 500 were completed and delivered to customers before the factory closed. This makes the Saab 9-4X one of the rarest series-produced Saab models ever — even rarer than both the 9-2X and the 9-7X — making this example a truly unique collector’s item.
