Description
The first owner drove a little more than half of the total mileage over 18 years, with the last recorded dealer-stamped service in the book performed in 1988 at 30,000 km. After that, maintenance appears to have been handled privately. The current owner (the estate) purchased the car in 2001, and according to the earliest inspection record preserved from that year, the odometer reading was 74,000 km.
He must have been very pleased with his low-mileage find and the first owner’s meticulous care—at that point, the car became an enthusiast’s vehicle. A personal note about a service is recorded from 2018 at 124,000 km. In any case, it has covered only about 55,000 km over the past 24 years, and around 5,000 km since 2018. The most recent approved inspection was carried out on March 6, 2024.

Condition
-
Mechanical condition
The engine starts easily, and the gearbox, brakes, and chassis all feel good and as they should—steady and reassuring. The car was fitted early on with an alarm and remote locking system; today, however, it only locks the driver’s door. Mercedes used a vacuum-operated central locking system, so there’s likely a small leak somewhere, or the mechanisms may simply need lubrication and adjustment. A new radiator has also been installed recently.
-
Interior condition
Bright and inviting interior in attractive original condition, giving a positive overall impression. The driver’s seat shows a hint of wear—or more accurately, some slight discoloration—that could likely be removed with a fabric cleaning. Otherwise, the carpets, door panels, and headliner are all intact, clean, and tidy. Vintage audio system and nice wood trim. The electric adjustment for the right-hand mirror works perfectly.
-
Exterior condition
Most likely still wearing its original paint, beautifully preserved and undamaged. Chrome and glass are in equally good condition. Hankook tires from 2016 with good tread, mounted on original steel wheels with elegant classic hubcaps matching the car’s color.
-
General condition
The entry-level Mercedes of its era, in exceptionally fine and well-maintained condition. A W123 for those seeking a carefully and lovingly used everyday car with the timeless mark of quality that defines the brand.
