"A legendary motocross bike that runs excellently and is in like-new condition."

Description

This machine was built by a skilled mechanic in Rödeby. The frame was made by Bror Olsson and the engine was built by Nisse Hedlund with the number 207-5-11 and has only been driven a few kilometers since it was built. It was intended to be registered, which is why it has lights and road tires installed. However, this did not happen and it remains unregistered. The machine has not been raced, it has mostly been used for exhibitions.

Facts about the model

Four-Stroke.

A unique replica of the Lito model year 1964 (1960-1965). This model was produced at the Lito works in Helsingborg in around 30 examples. Both the originals and a few well-made replicas, including this bike, hold high collector value today.

An incredibly powerful motorcycle that demands its rider. Get ready for a magical riding experience on the motocross track and enjoy a satisfying roar when you kick it into life. Truly a work of craftsmanship!

The Lito works in Helsingborg was founded by Kaj Bornebusch and existed only between 1958 and 1965, but during that time it managed to create a significant piece of Swedish motocross history. The first Lito bike was a repainted and slightly modified Monark bike that former world champion Sten “Storken” Lundin raced and won gold with at the 1961 World Championship. Production began in 1961, and the motorcycles were made to order. The Lito bikes were seen as highly competitive but also stylish and are today among the most sought-after Swedish vintage motocross machines.

With this bike, Storken won ten world championship titles, including seven golds and three silvers in the team world championships in vintage motocross.
