Description
In 2012, the current owner purchased the car for his collection. He changed and repainted the right front wing. He decides to sell I because he does not have enough time to work on all of the cars.
The owner has now found the service book and the following info applies:
910108: At 24810 km, the engine was replaced under warranty by Philipsons in Malmö.
970422: The odometer had been replaced, new estimated meter reading approx. 100000 km.
No stamp in the book after 00-09-25 at 59000 km.
Last inspection 2011-04-21 meter reading 100540 km.
The current meter reading is 103910 km, which means that the car has rolled 3370 km since the last inspection, in total it has rolled about 200000 km.

After a time of inactivity at collection, the car is fired up and works great, but it requires a service, brake overhaul, and inspection. Ignition module and spark plugs have recently been replaced.

Nice original interior with leather seats that have some traces of use.

Exterior condition
There is some partial repainted shade variance, signs of improvement, and door dent. Slight rust blisters on the tailgate edge and around the antenna Electric sunroof in good working order. Alloy wheels and tires are excellent.

General condition
Comfortable and classic long-distance cruiser that has withstood corrosion nicely.
It becomes a nice enthusiast car after servicing and inspection.

Mercedes-Benz W124 är en personbil, tillverkad av den tyska biltillverkaren Mercedes-Benz mellan 1984 och 1996.
124:an introducerades i december 1984. Bilen bröt helt med föregångaren W123 och tekniken byggde istället vidare på den mindre 190:n, men med större kaross och rymligare interiör. Från hösten 1985 kunde man beställa sin sexcylindriga W124:a med Mercedes fyrhjulsdrivningssystem 4MATIC i 1987.
Produktionen uppgick till 2 583 470 exemplar.
I maj 1987 introducerades coupé-versionen. Den byggdes i 141 498 exemplar.

General information about the condition of the vehicles .
- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
