"This Fiat has a far higher level of exclusivity than its Ferrari Dino competitors. If you're shy, don't buy this car since people will chase after it to take pictures of it."

Description

In 1967, a buyer placed an order for a new car from Auto-Lindén in Helsingborg, but the purchaser died before the car could be delivered. The original owner, a lawyer from Karlshamn, bought the car in December 1967 after making several lengthy phone calls to several salespeople at the showroom. This owner painted the car in random colors based on coincidences and personal preferences. It was repainted in British Racing Green after the owner's daughter scratched it on both sides during a parking maneuver at an equestrian competition. The color, however, did not suit the car's design, so the lawyer allowed it to revert to its original red color. All of this is discussed in depth in a lengthy letter that also includes a multitude of other documents as well as four photo albums documenting the car's restoration to its current state.
The previous owner, who bought the Spider from the lawyer in 1988, concluded the renovation 25 years ago. In the mid-1990s, the engine was completely overhauled and bench tested. The car's previous owner is a friend of the present owner, who hasn't driven it much since purchasing it in 2015, and after owning a number of other sports cars, it's time for this dream car to find a new home.

The car was extensively renovated 25 years ago, and the paint is still in excellent condition, with only a few minor flaws visible if you look closely. The car also comes with a very unusual hardtop, which, like the car, was designed by Pininfarina. Excellent chromework and details

  • General condition:

The model is widely prized around the world, and this example is in excellent condition, meeting the demands of discerning collectors. In Sweden, a total of three new copies were sold. One of them is this.
