This very fine and low-mileage Opel Kadett was purchased new at BILEX in Karlskrona in 1988. The car has been owned by Opel enthusiasts over the years and has had six owners in total, including the current owner, with the first owner keeping the car for 11 years. The Kadett has driven only 371 kilometers from 2007 until today. Extensive documentation, including the purchase contract, service book, warranty certificate, and all inspection records since the car was new, are preserved and come with the vehicle. A major service was performed on 2022-11-07, which also included a timing belt replacement. It’s remarkable that this car has survived, as most Kadetts of this vintage have succumbed to rust. Many have also been used in rally racing.

Original interior in top condition with few signs of use. Nothing to remark on.

Exterior condition
The original paint is in fine and undamaged condition. The right door has a "pushed-in" side, resulting in a large but soft dent visible in the "right front corner" image. Apart from this, it almost appears as if it has just left the showroom. Nice condition underneath, see photos.

The Opel Kadett Club 1.6 is a car model that many appreciated for its simplicity and reliability. By this time, the Kadett model already had a long history. In 1988, this model was part of the Kadett E series, which was introduced in 1984 and became a popular compact car in Europe. - During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
