Condition
-
Mechanical condition
Started easily and ran well in engine and drivetrain, there was some rattling, not in the engine, during a test drive at a slow pace in a residential area, the car's potential could still be felt with nice steering, clutch, and gearbox as well as well-functioning brakes. The handbrake works but could be better. Not checked on a lift, but from what could be seen, the vital parts looked okay, though there were clear rust damages and a larger hole on the right rear side, up into the trunk.
-
Interior condition
A pleasant interior in fine blue textile with textile carpets. Comfortable chairs with bounce, but with wear on the fabrics, especially the driver's seat. Decent door panels, panels, and ceiling. Missing a cover under the rear seat. Steering wheel (accessory steering wheel with leather, original included), controls, and instruments are in decent condition, with a crack on the upper part of the dashboard. Decent wood details. Electrical components and meters appear to work well, except for the clock.
-
Exterior condition
A pleasant blue hue on the paintwork that brings to mind Norwegian waters. The upper part is decent and shiny, but sections at the bottom are directly worn and damaged. Glass and various shiny parts are in good condition but with some damage here as well. Rims with scrapes and okay tires. Engine and luggage compartments show wear.

General condition
This is a drivable object with all that it entails. At the same time, it is a sought-after 55-year-old model and a motoring history interesting classic and enthusiast vehicle from Audi's comeback and restart.

Facts about the model
In the decades following this, Audi underwent an image and brand transformation and began competing with the two premium brands in Munich and Stuttgart. A key part of this shift was Audi’s flagship model, the Audi 100, which began production in 1967. It was initially available as a two- and four-door sedan, ranging from simpler to more luxurious versions with added luxury features.
At the Frankfurt Motor Show in 1969, a surprise arrived in the form of a coupe version. Its design featured Italian lines of the time, with two doors and a fastback style. It was simply named the Audi Coupé S and was produced from 1969 to 1976. Under the hood was a straight-four engine with 1871 cm³ displacement. Initially, it had two carburetors and produced 115 hp. When the oil crisis hit, it was fitted with a single carburetor and produced 112 hp. The car had a four-speed manual gearbox or a three-speed automatic transmission. The car was well-received, garnering positive reviews, and a total of 30,687 units were built.
