"The car recently received a startup service after six years in storage. Electrical and ignition issues were resolved, the indicator switch was replaced, and clutch and brake components were addressed. The engine and gearbox are in good condition, but the rear brake cylinder needs replacement or refurbishment before the final inspection."

Condition

  • Mechanical condition

The car starts effortlessly and operates smoothly in terms of its engine and gearbox. However, as previously mentioned, the rear brake cylinder requires replacement or refurbishment, as the brakes continue to bind despite changing all the brake hoses. The car features good wheels and tires.

  • Interior condition

The interior is entirely intact, with seat covers protecting the passenger seat. However, beneath these covers, the textile material is worn and torn. The dashboard remains complete with functioning instrumentation but displays a cracked vinyl panel. Other interior elements, such as the headliner, door cards, and carpets, are in good condition, albeit with older rubber mats.

  • Exterior condition

The car's bodywork maintains a straight and solid overall appearance, with a few rust blisters visible in the photos. These rust issues can be observed around the bootlid, rear wings (both upper and lower), and the front corners of the wings. The underbody is in good condition, with some minor rust around the jacking points and surface rust on the sill.

  • General condition

It appears that resolving the brake issue is a relatively straightforward task, which will enable the car to undergo its final inspection. The cosmetic concerns, while present, are not pressing and can be addressed gradually over time.
