A handsome Mercedes from the first model year of the W211 generation, equipped with the Elegance design line. A year and a half ago, the current owner took over the car from his father-in-law. Since he has no use for the car, the family is now selling it at auction, in the hope that a Mercedes enthusiast will want it. The father-in-law had owned the car since 2013, and it had only a few owners before that. Studded winter tires on original alloy wheels are included with the purchase, but they could not be documented ahead of the auction as they are stored at a tire hotel. According to the current owner, the winter wheels are in poor condition. They will be retrieved from the tire hotel prior to delivery. The car was inspected in July 2026 and, following a re-inspection the same month, it passed. Two keys are included. The owner's manual is included, but the service booklet could not be found; however, service records are available in the car's digital service history. According to this, the most recent service was carried out on August 31, 2025, at 188,730 km. At that service, the engine oil, cabin air filter, brake fluid, front brake pads and front brake discs were replaced. The owner has kept his own notes on service and repairs. In August 2025, the front springs were replaced with original Elegance springs at Speedy in Solna. In June 2025, the front bumper was replaced and repainted at the same time. The right rear door, right wheel housing and right rear fender were also painted by Werksta in Bromma.

Mechanical condition
Starts and runs well in both engine and automatic transmission. No unusual noises could be heard during a test drive conducted at the time of documentation. Electrical functions such as windshield wipers, AC, radio, power windows, and power mirrors have been tested and were working.

Interior condition
The light, elegant interior is clean and in good condition. The only remarks to be made are that the plastic cover on the driver's seat is broken and that part of the handle on the center console lid is loose – see photos.

Exterior condition
A largely very neat and fine Mercedes. The hood has a large number of stone chips visible as light-colored spots. There is minor damage to the right front fender, and a small dent is visible on the left rear fender. There is surface rust in the rear wheel housing on the left side.

General condition
A well-maintained and tidy Mercedes. The minor cosmetic flaws that exist are hardly an obstacle to this example becoming an enthusiast car and a classic.

Facts about the model
As a 2003 model year, the Mercedes E-Class generation W211 was launched. The front-end design with its dual headlights was largely borrowed from the previous generation. Under the skin, the new model was loaded with modern technology such as SBC, Sensotronic Brake Control, which meant that the brake pedal had no mechanical connection to the brakes. The sedan model W211 was produced until April 2009, and production of the wagon S211 continued until June of the same year. By then, a total of 1.5 million units had been built.

For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
