Description

Boije Håkansson founded the Skruv tractor museum after collecting and restoring his tractors to near-original condition for many years. The majority of tractors have been used in Småland and Blekinge. Following his death, his relatives have decided to sell the collection and entrust it to other collectors.

Purchased in Blekinge. The tractor is unrenovated. Really lovely original patina.

  • Mechanical condition:

    The engine is running but we did not start it; we need more experience with this type of engine. The compression appeared to be good. A new battery is required.

  • Exterior condition:

    Beautiful original paintwork with a nice patina. Rust on the rear wheels, but the tires are ok.

Facts about the model

Användningsområde
BM-10 konstruerades för de mindre och medelstora lantbruken. Den var gjord för en- eller tvåskärig hydraulisk buren plog och väl lämpad för montering av olika slags redskap och utrustningar tack vare de föredömligt släta sidorna. Med den goda sikt som föraren hade på BM-10 var traktorn utmärkt för radodlade grödor. Personen som satt på hackan bakom traktorn for dock illa av avgaserna från avgasröret tills BM beslöt sig för att rikta om utsläppet från bakåtriktat till uppåtriktat. I och med detta beslöt man sig också för att ta fram en godkänd gnistsläckare så att traktorn kunde köras in i byggnader.

Historik
?BM-10 var den sista konstruktionen med tändkulemotor och konstruerades av en tysk. Enligt historien lär mannen inte ha kommit överens med Hitler så därför kom han hit till Eskilstuna och Sverige.

BM-10 utvecklades i samarbete med Volvo och hade bakkroppen gemensamt med Volvo T 20 serien.
Tillkomsten av BM:s nya lilla traktor. BM-10 kompenserade bortfallet av den under krigsåren så viktiga flygmotortillverkningen. BM-10:an blev parallellt med BM 21 företagets sista traktor med tändkulemotor. Det 28 centimeter smala frampartiet, den utomordentliga sikten, den stora frigångshöjden och den lilla vändradien gjorde BM-10 till en smidig traktor.
BM 10:s motor härstammade från Bolinders W3 tändkulemotor som kom ut i sin första version redan i mitten av 20-talet. 6 400 st BM-10 tillverkades under åren 1946–1953 och hade ett riktpris år 1953 på 8 690 kr.

  • During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
  • Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
  • When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
  • If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
  • If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
  • Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
  • For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
