"The odometer was reset following the renovation, and it has only been ridden 96 kilometers since the renovation was done two years ago. We couldn't test ride the bike because of the snow, but according to the owners, everything works perfectly."

Description

The bike is a 1970 K1 "see model picture" model but appears to have been registered in traffic in 1973 here in Sweden and had the same owner up until 1998 and then a few others after before the latter owner made the renovation, according to records the bike had only been ridden 28,540 km at the time of the last inspection in 2010. The renovation took time because the bike was stripped down to its components and completely rebuilt using only NOS "new old stock" parts, with the goal of keeping the bike as original as possible. The present owner has a large collection of older cars and antiques, as well as a history of owning and building prize-winning cars, so the bike had to be in excellent condition before it could be added to his collection.

Facts about the model

The CB750 featured a four-stroke, air-cooled, transverse-mounted inline-four engine, which was a significant departure from the predominantly British and American motorcycles of the time, which typically used twin-cylinder engines. The CB750 also had other advanced features for the time, such as an electric starter, disc brakes, and a front fork with hydraulic damping.
