Description
This car has belonged to the owner of the historic Swedish Car Clinic (formerly Viking Motors) in Marina Del Ray in west Los Angeles. The workshop is a specialist for Volvo and Saab since the 1970s in Los Angeles (Volvo's largest market at the time). When the owner retired three years ago, the car was bought by a Swedish customer, living nearby. The car was export back to its birthplace of Gothenburg, to a Volvo collector.
The good thing about the car is that it works and has never been rusty. All the panels and edges are really nice and the engine is running well. The car was rebuilt at the workshop in Los Angeles in the mid-1980s and used as a delivery car; the dry climate has saved it from rust. The car is built on a 264, model year 1980, and in 1986 it had a B21 turbo engine fitted, instead of the big six.
The car is has the TULL paid in Sweden and comes with an American title and can be registered as a converted vehicle. The car is now sold as spare parts or project car. Documents are included in the sale.
